Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026 · Version 2026.09.10

This Privacy Policy explains how Infinitum Imagery LLC (“Infinitum,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Infinitum System Optimizer (the “Software”), create an account, buy a plan, use optional Privacy Shield features, or visit infinitum-system-optimizer.web.app. By using the Software or site, you acknowledge this Policy. Our Terms of Use also apply.

1. Who we are

Infinitum Imagery LLC
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States
Privacy and support: [email protected]

Core health checks, cleaning, and optimization are designed to run locally on your device whenever possible.

2. Scope

This Policy covers the Windows and macOS desktop apps, related Infinitum cloud services used for accounts, entitlements, billing, and Privacy Shield, and the product marketing / download website. It does not cover third-party websites you open from links inside the app (for example broker opt-out pages).

3. Information processed on your device

Depending on the tools you run, Infinitum may read locally:

Live metrics are not written as long-term telemetry dumps for advertising. We do not sell advertising profiles built from your hardware or file data.

4. Changes the Software may make (only after you confirm)

5. Account and billing information

If you create an account, we process the name, email, and phone number you provide, plus authentication credentials handled by Firebase Authentication. We store consent records (Terms, Privacy, age attestation, optional marketing opt-in) and entitlement / device-seat documents in Firestore for licensing and support.

When you buy a plan, Stripe processes payment. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; Infinitum receives billing metadata needed for entitlements (for example customer and subscription identifiers, plan status). Mobile store purchases, when offered, are processed by Apple or Google.

6. What is not uploaded by default

Current builds do not upload your file lists, scan contents, or process inventories to Infinitum cloud services for ordinary Clean / Monitor / Repair work. The marketing website is separate from the desktop app’s local work. Crash reporting is not required for core local tools and would ask for consent if enabled later.

7. Internet Speed Test

When you run Speed Test, the app contacts public measurement endpoints (for example Cloudflare’s speed measurement paths and brief latency checks to well-known sites) so it can estimate download, upload, and response time. Those requests leave your network like any normal browser speed check. Results stay on your device unless you later enable a cloud feature that says otherwise.

8. Network Diagnose (public IP / ISP)

When you run Network → Diagnose, the app first reads local connection details on this device. If the device can reach the internet, it may also make a short HTTPS request to a public IP lookup service (currently ipinfo.io) so it can show your public IP and approximate provider/location. That lookup is only triggered by Diagnose; results stay on your device.

9. Software updates

Optional update checks contact official GitHub Releases (or successor Infinitum channels) for signed installer metadata. Those requests typically include standard network metadata (IP address, user agent) processed by the host of the release channel.

10. Privacy Shield (optional)

Privacy Shield is an optional add-on that helps you find and request removal of your own listings on certain people-search and data-broker sites. Identity details you enter stay under your control on the device unless you enable cloud-assisted scan or removal features, which then send only what those features need to Infinitum backend services (and AI / search providers we use under our control). Vendor API keys are not stored in the desktop app. You must only scan for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent. Automated removal never bypasses CAPTCHA, and outcomes depend on third-party sites. See in-app Privacy Shield disclosures and our Terms for more.

11. Website

Our marketing and download site is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Standard server logs may include IP address, request URL, user agent, and timestamps. We use this for security, reliability, and understanding aggregate traffic. We do not use the site to sell personal data.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

The product site is primarily static content. Hosting or CDN providers may set necessary technical cookies or use similar technologies for delivery and abuse prevention. The desktop app does not use advertising cookies for core local tools. If we add analytics or marketing pixels later, we will update this Policy and, where required, provide notice or choice in the product or on the site.

13. Marketing communications

If you opt in at registration (or later) to product updates and offers, we may email you about Infinitum products. You can unsubscribe using the link in those emails or by contacting [email protected]. We may still send transactional messages about your account, security, or purchases.

14. How we use information

15. Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the product:

We do not sell your personal information as advertising data. Service providers are engaged to process data on our behalf under contractual and technical controls appropriate to their role.

16. Retention

17. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data (including TLS for cloud calls and Firebase security rules for owner-scoped documents). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your device and account credentials.

18. Children

The Software is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable digital-consent age). Account registration and paid plans require you to be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for accounts. If you believe a child provided account data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

19. Your choices and rights

20. International processing

Infinitum is based in the United States. Cloud providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. If you access the Software from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country.

21. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date and version at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, surfaced in the app or by email for account holders. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
